Switch memories

I recently heard this song and in about two seconds it brought me back to signing it to myself at my desk in Ms. Mitchell's first grade class. I discovered De Barge, Switch, Pebbles, Shalimar, and Tina Turner that year and soon I was convinced that if I danced hard enough in front of the TV, I'd become the first six year old White dancer on Soul Train or Solid Gold.
