I put Crocs in the same category as the McCain/Palin ticket, Rihanna's "singing," Bill O'Reilly, Tevas, and chicken salad. I hate them and always will. I'm a footwear snob and they're a pox on fashion. Their design is sort of innovative but they're universally unflattering and clash with EVERYTHING. And don't lecture me about how comfortable they are- if you want comfort, please purchase Clark's or Jesus sandals.
So I was gleefull when I learned that legendary architect Zaha Hadid was designing shoes for Lacoste. Her designs are always very futuristic. Unfortunetely, the results bare too close a resemblance to Crocs for me (and also to those overpriced Puma foot-web thingy's from the early 2000's). This is one project I cannot abide by Zaha! I'll admit that they do look quite comfortable though. I'll give her that. Kind of like if God wore flippers.
