Really love this woman. I've been following her for years in the press, long before she became France's first lady. She's always been portrayed as ambitious, self reliant, impetuous, passionate, outspoken, and completely un-apologetc about her choices. Even by French standards quite brazen. She's also great looking at her age, whatever that is. She's a successful singer/songwriter in France and equally notorious for jumping from one lover to another (again, even by French standards). I admire her resistance to sticking around out of loyalty, "what we had," or trying to work on it, etc. Hearts will get broken (including your own) but if one is truly passionate what choice does one have?
Also worth noting is that if a man carried on the way she does, he'd be hero, a legendary charmer, lover, bon vivante. The second coming of Warren Beaty. Quelle Sexiste!!
